Optus advise that full coverage was restored by about 6:30pm Wednesday 8 November. Users on mobile, landline and broadband networks were hit by the outage, which lasted about 13 hours before most services were restored. EmuTel services were unaffected during this time.

Good morning all.

We can confirm the EmuTel network is operational. However, due to an outage on the Optus network in Australia, calls to and from the Optus fixed and mobile networks (including Optus resellers) are failing.

Some 1300 services delivered via the Optus network are also affected.

Due to a large amount of call re-attempts there is disruption to other carriers' services as well.
