Telstra has advised of an outage affecting their mobile services. Below is copied directly from the Telstra outage page.
**_We are working to fix an issue that occurred overnight that means some mobile customers cannot make calls.
Triple Zero and mobile data aren't affected.
If customers are experiencing issues we recommend they switch airplane mode on and off or try making a data call using WiFi calling or other apps such as Face Time.
We're sorry for the late night hassle for our customers._**
There was a brief period were EmuTel mobiles were affected also, as they use the Telstra wholesale network. This has since been resolved.
Telstra are working on a resolution.

Once the Telstra outage is confirmed resolved, we do recommend rebooting your mobile device. If after that time you are still unable to make calls, please reach out to EmuTel on 1800 368 835, or submit a ticket via support@emutel.com.au
